Maris Takes Shape: A Tattoo with Lifetimes of Meaning

Some tattoos are more than just art—they’re stories, connections, and tributes to bonds that transcend time. My latest tattoo, Maris, is exactly that. She’s an energetic being, hybrid, part mermaid and part siren, who has been part of my soul family for countless lifetimes.

The Design of Maris: A Blend of Strength and Grace

The design is a stunning blend of contrasts, capturing both her strength and elegance. The soft, radiant hues of sunrise—golden oranges, blush pinks, and delicate purples—paint the backdrop. These colors symbolize renewal and timeless rhythm. They bring memories that remind me of a different time and space as a child, asking Maris why the sun rises and sets. Her calm, wise presence mirrored the tides, offering comfort and connection even then.

Maris herself is depicted with a powerful, dark, and strikingly beautiful tail. It exudes strength and resilience. This contrasts with her elegantly sculpted body and long, flowing silver hair, which embodies grace and wisdom. Every detail of her design tells a story. Together, they reflect her role as both guide and guardian in my life.

Island Bay: A Place of Sacred Memories

Island Bay holds profound significance for me. It’s where we shared Sacha’s ashes in the waters near the rocks after her passing in February 2023. Recently, we also said goodbye to our beloved dog, Betsy. For 17 years, Betsy lovingly watched over Sacha, keeping her safe and out of trouble.

Now, when we visit the bay, it feels like a sacred space. It’s a place to honor their energies and love, which remain ever-present. The waters near those rocks connect us across dimensions, serving as a constant reminder of the bonds we share.

Bringing Maris to Life

Bringing Maris into physical form through this tattoo was a meaningful process. After an hour of refining her design, she emerged fully human, meaning she wanted to be seen more than an energetic translucent frequency. It felt as though she was guiding the Raz’s hand every step of the way.

Her image now lives on my skin. It’s a tangible reminder of the connections I share with my energetic family and the magic that flows through lifetimes.

A Wider Energetic Family

Maris is not alone. She is part of a broader, energetic family that includes her sister, Cleleo, who shared a strong connection with Sacha. Alongside them are fairies, dragons, and other magical beings. These guides support me in ways both seen and unseen.

Their presence shapes my life, teaching me about resilience, grace, and the unseen forces that surround us all.

Sharing the Magic

As I reflect on Maris’s story, I feel inspired to share these energies with others. Next year, I plan to host community talks about frequencies and energies. I want to explore how they influence our homes, relationships, and personal growth. Together, we can learn how to connect with our own energetic teams and live in alignment with their guidance.
